Do you "make" pots too? (Shohin)
I bought this little vase-thing in a thrift shop and drilled a hole in it I'm thinking cascading mame conifer in the future. It's hand-made and was very hard (had to buy the concrete/cement drill bit to get through), so I think it will hold up qualitywise.
Does anyone else "make" bonsai pots this way? I see it viable for shohin sizes especially. You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Yes, I've done the same with a couple of small ceramic containers. As you said, they're difficult to drill through, even with masonry drill bits, which are designed to be used with a hammer drill. Try using a glass or ceramic tile drill bit.
Inspired by Grant Bowie I've also started making my own pots, though my first few pots are not good enough to show off.
Cheers, Frank.
