AusBonsai Shohin Progressive Styling Competition 2011/2012

Create the best possible Shohin sized bonsai from raw, untrained stock over a period of 14 months between 1st August 2011 and 31st October 2012. Entry posts must be made by 31st August 2011.

I'd like to lodge a formal complaint about the rules of this competition. I live in South Africa, so I can only start nine hours after you lot. Nine hours is a lot of growing you know!!!! :x It's REALLY unfair! :x :tounge: :lost:

It would be the first of september wouldn't it? Just really early in the morning. I can wait until tomorrow after school anyway. I think I asked this before but Steven said in the OP that we may have to prove we haven't styled it, (paraphrasing, hope I'm not putting words in your mouth). Will we have to and if so how? A photo with tomorrows newspaper?

I'll get dad to go get the paper in the morning then. Too late for one though :( could hardly wait until 12. Oh well if it gets disqualified it gets disqualified. Good luck everybody, I can't wait to see some great bonsai in 14 months!

If the free local paper arrives this week I can use that... good excuse to take it out of the wrapper before binning it :lol:

I have just been reminded that we will have daylight savings when the comp finishes, do we poor sods who have to suffer it get an extension too??? :tounge: :lol:

Best to post a new photo, with no work done and a current newspaper date/page. safer that way :tu2:

hi craig
there is a problem with me as i cant drive or walk so how do i get a paper, this is where honesty comes into play i am a honest person and do stick to rules
as it is i am still in recovery from my spinal fusion and the doctors told me no driving for 3 months so my sister has pinched my car :crybye: :crybye:
so how can i prove that i not done no work.
