Re: [strawbs] satsuki azalea
this is my final submission in the comp-
this was quite a learning curve, as i have never had a satsuki before and only 1 other azalea
it was grown in straight kunama for the whole time with irregular feeds ,seasol and a azalea fert.
i have lost the tag but it flowers white, if any1 knows .
what attracted me to the future bonsai was the base, a good dig under the soil around the base
never hurts youngsters take note , "its not always about whats above the soil " most of the branches are the suckers in the above which were under the soil...
6months on - my submission with the ruler- and my final submission -

Nice entry Strawbs I like the ascent plant to but that photo sadly dose it no justice. I have improved the image with some sharpening and adjusted the lighting, Do you want to see it, Am I allowed to post it or is it to late for a resubmission

Gday Booga,
but upon reading ur comment i had a play around myself, yes it was not the best pic
and id like to make this my final submission-
i have adjusted the contrast and lightness but also the sharpness, i dont see that in the rules ?
thems the rules• Photos cannot be altered in any way other than adjusting contrast, lightness and colour saturation. Cropping and rotating to level the photographs is also allowed. No Photoshop, manipulation, editing etc.
• All work must be completed by the submitting artist.
