[ANBA] Ficus rubiginosa - Port Jackson Fig

Purchased from a Member of The School of Bonsai that was downsizing his collection due to ill health in 2008
Repotted in to this Mudlark Pottery pot in 2010

Constant tip pruning and selective defoliation keeps the Leaves small and the branching from extending thru the growing season. Wire is applied as needed to shape the branches and to avoid them turning skyward.
the future objective is to improve the branch ramification

ahh Thanks Forgot to add the sizes :palm:
tis 230mm from the soil line to Apex, and 280mm across.

At first glance I thought it was planted in a tatty old poly box. Not sure about the pot, but the tree is a great specimen which will develop over time.

the pot is Mudlark Pottery specimin that Steven had made for a comp here on Ausbonsai that I did well in :-)
Is signed and numbered with Ausbonsai on it so is quite special :D :-)
