Ficus rubiginosa - Port Jackson fig
Height: 25cm, Width: 28 cm
from seed 1992, basic training from about 1998.
This series of figs were grown from seed in 1992. In 1993 I gave all members of the Albury Wodonga bonsai society one or more of the seedlings to grow and develop as a club project. This is one of the trees I grew from that batch of seedlings.
Like its big brother, this one started life as 2 separate seedlings which were planted close together with roots entwined but this one was kept in a 10cm plastic pot and clipped regularly to try to develop a smaller bonsai.
