[Greenhorn] -DEAD- ficus obliqua

hi all this tree was found in a storm drain a couple weeks ago its 14cm high hopefully will do well :yes:

Species- Ficus Obliqua
Height- 140mm
From- collected in a storm drain
Cost - $0

Deffinately not a benji, looks like Ficus obliqua (Qld small leaf fig)

It may take a while but if you keep practicing the scientific names they will come to you. Some may say the scientific names aren't that important. They aren't until you need to know something about a certain species of tree. In most conversations the common name is enough and nearly every one can recognise the plant you are talking about. I learn the scientific name for my own benifit, to find infomation. or when asking professionals obout a paticular type of plant.
