Okie Dokie,
That juniper has been too elusive! I thought as this is an Aussie compo, I'd at least enter an Aussie tree! So here it is. It was not clearly labelled so I'm not sure what type of Syzigium it is. Height was about 1.2 meters and I have trunk chopped it and repotted into a grow-on pot. Never worked on one of these so its gonna be a beeeeg learning curve for me. Cost was $2 give or take a nickel, and I got it on the toss out dump at a local commercial nursery. One thing it does have is a nasty knob on the root system so I have to figure out what to do with it. For now, I have scarred the knob and whacked on some rooting hormone and we'll see whether she lives to tell the tale!
Have fun all!

Update #1: I'll be wiring up the new leader, but other than that, this little puppy is slow to grow!

Update - Right, so, this little porker remains slow growing. It has put on a bit of new foliage, but is certainly not presenting me with loads of options! Not holding my breath for this compo! Needless to say, here it is today:

Hey Andrew, you have some nice texture in the bark on the lower trunk and I am also jealous of the movement in your tree!
Mine is also slow growing and I fear for its design in general too.
Your streets ahead of me, nice work I am enjoying your design and look forward to how it turns out
Cheers, Dario.

Looking good Andrew. Dont worry about it being slow as most of the others are dying. This will be a last man (or tree)standing comp.

Update - a bit more growth, but no more design work at this point. I'm really not sure what to do with this one, and those branches snap as soon as you look at them!!
