thanks Dark1 ,
found about half a dozen of these last winter ,lost 1 so far and 1 is looking like curling the toes but luckily this one is shooting new growth :fc:
the scare down the side is from the slashers that clean the gutter out ,there are about another dozen or so left in the gutter , maybe next year?

:imo: Judging by the pictures I think that's a juniper.

Cupressus, are just one of the many Conifer's that look like juniperus. You have it right rawhide.
