Yeah! It is bright.... But I love the way it challenges the tree, the way a brilliant blue sky keeps drawing your attention. The strength of the tree is well balanced against the strength of the colour. The 'Asian' aesthetic of the pot styling isn't too discordant either.

Yes it is bright it is also way over potted, so I would think that means it is being grown on in a larger pot for now.
So it can be put in the correct pot in the future.

You know part of the process, of development.

Pup - can that be my excuse for having been seen wearing way oversized brightly coloured pants when I was a teenager?

Thanks Ash , Roger, funny cause i was looking at it last night after i saw Ash's comment and thinking the same thing. The pot attracts your eyes instantly but the tree then draws your attention .

A nice blue pot to keep the tree happy :D , if the tree's happy i'm happy.

If there are people who enter competitions with that sort of material and end up with that result, I don't think I have a chance at winning at all LOL. :imo:

It's all about using what's in front of you. this tree already had a branch which i could use as a leader and side branch so it was planned around that. A nice simple but effective plan. Plus massive amounts of luck . Also experience, practice, research, trial and error, time, all that comes into it. A tree like this has at a cost , and that is all of the trees killed before it/paid the price .

Hi Craig.
Just saw your comments. It's a long way from here to you. I won't be happy until it's safely in your hands.

Well done Craig, the tree looks real good, the dead wood at the top gives that special look to the norm.
