My first advice would be that it is not an oak. Looks like an Elm to me.

Lucky because it will make a nice Elm :tu:
It's too bad your in such a hurry cause the stories I could tell you, Bushels and baskets of stories, hole crates full of stories. But if you can spare a moment I will tell you one story.

Might be a wild guess,

but as for the cost, perhaps the tree may have been $45.00.....................a wild guess, just based on the pics ?

Not that its important to the conpitetion.

A pot is a pot, and an oak may be an elm, so.......?

Good luck with it either way, looking good so far.

Yep, dont I feel like a goose....

Yep the tree was labled at $45 but I think I only paid $25-$30 for it.

So any help with the branches/structure of the tree?

thanks,
Mark

   I have felt like that many times. This is a good tree and it is just letting it grow and get some branch thickening.. The tree looks quite large, do you know the height has to be 250mm and under?
