Latest update:

Growth has slowed down over the last month, but it's still developing to where I want it to go. Hopefully it will fill out some more on the top right, and I've left a few shoots untrimmed on that side. Depending on how it goes, I might even consider turning it round and having the back as the new front. I'll see what happens by next month.

Incidentally, the June post will be a few days late as I'm going away for a few weeks and don't get back until 6th June. Hope that's not a problem.

June update.

Not much growth since last month - due to the cooler weather up here I guess. With the growth it has achieved, I'm not too sure which is going to be the front now. It looks pretty good from both sides. Have to see what happens over the next couple of months.

I have been watching this one, love this little privet. I am with Velvetsicklid, the first pic looks best to me.
Keep posting, please - keen to see this tree develop.

Kindest regards

If it were not for my trees, maybe I could see the forest.
