Re: [Ces] Ficus Rubiginosa
Update on this entry.
Peformed a trunk chop about 3 weeks ago and the tree has responded well, however I thought I knew what I was doing when it came to styling this tree into the form I had in mind but it turns out I dont.
Oh well, we'll see what we come up with. Cheers,
Ces.

Re: [Ces] Ficus Rubiginosa
went for a defoliation today. I think i know where i'm taking this tree for the comp now but I'm not sure how sustainable it will be.
Any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Cheers guys,
Ces.

Nice taper
not sure about the back brnach on the left tho, looks to be crossing behind the front branch at a much different angle. Can you lower that one some more?

You're right ken. Thanks, I need those extra eyes. Lowering it shouldn't be a problem. I'll do it it before it pushes growth.kcpoole wrote:Nice taper

Re: [Ces] Ficus Rubiginosa
early obligitory update and to show new growth.
Got rid of new growth i didn't need and pinched most of the tips. some branches i'm still letting thicken. Might get a pot soon... unless anyone thinks I could defoliate again this season. wadd'ya reckon? Any suggestions more than welcome.
Cheers,
Ces.

Re: [Ces] Ficus Rubiginosa
This one did not like its re-pot. In hindsight I should've removed some foliage.
Pretty much withdrawn. Cheers,
Ces.
