I have just airlayered it and chopped the second biggest branch as a leader. Want it to bud so I can take pictures.

Now I have some buds. It had buds only towards the sun...then I turned it so the side where I want buds is towards the sun and got some buds.
I will need to drastically change the angle of potting in spring.

I have done nothing to this one. It has some shoots but they have not grown as well as the other melaleuka which is not airlayered. I have no time now to work on it, and I shall update again as I work on it.

Removed 4 airlayers from it and finally styled it.

This tree is giving me headaches....totally confused where I am going...Need to change the planting angle. It is almost looking indecent.

My puppie chewed the apex so I started a new one....but honestly speaking I am not very sure what I am doing...never worked with melaleuka before so trying to figure it out, and making a fool of my self in the process...

This is giving me nothing but grief...He he he! When you do plants for a competition...you always rush things...when you do them for a shohin competition...it is so hard to stay within the size...you end up with a nonsense like this...To make the things worse...my apex died compliments of my new puppies, so I have to start a new one. This was a preliminary trim...now I shall look at it and reduce it some more where needed.
