The objective of the REFINE category in the AusBonsai Shohin Progressive Styling Competition was to continue to refine the entries from the 2011-2012 and 2013-2014 competitions with the view of creating the best possible Shohin sized bonsai (under 250mm tall) over a period of 18 months.

We originally had 38 entries but due to several factors, 29 entries were disqualified or withdrawn leaving only 9 who continued the competition.

Please find following, in alphabetical order based on the artists name, the finalists in the AusBonsai Shohin Progressive Styling Competition 2016-2017.

Please select your 3 favourite trees from the poll above and submit your vote on or before 11th December 2017. The results will be shown progressively as the voting takes place and the winners will be announced here on AusBonsai.

Don't forget to also vote in the CREATE category.

Please feel free to post your comments about the entries, the competition or even suggestions for future competitions.

Regards,
Steven

Cheers.
