Far out Sno. This is going to be an absolute cracker - whether in the comp or not.

Not quite Bingo yet Orpy , but it's coming along .

This tree has settled nicely into its new pot and is pushing new growth . The trick will be to not over prune , going on the previous years it will shut down soon and won't start growing again until after the comp has finished in November . I'm pruning back to an active bud hoping that this will keep the tree growing longer .

So this tree grew a little bit over autumn . It's healthy going into winter so I'll leave pruning untill the final . I'd like it a bit shorter ,it's about 160 mm at the moment . Cheers Sno

This one is looking healthy . Going on past years it won't grow anymore till after this comp has finished . I think I have enough growth to play with it to make it look more refined . We'll see .

Pretty happy with this tree ,considering it looked like a sharp pencil at the end of the last comp . I included an above shot to show the difference . Stands about 14 cm .

You've convinced me Sno. I think I'll try my hand at a Lepto or a Kunzea for the next shohin comp.
The small foliage is a big advantage and makes sense.
