National news update....... :reading:
A Pilot reported seeing a man flying unassisted at several thousand feet. "It was astonishing" said Captain Jones, "he was just trimming a Rhododendron as if there was nothing wrong at all". :palm:

If there is one thing that is unsettling for me it is strong wind, I was glued to a book last night anyway.

Did eveyone in vic survive the weather last night? I got off lucky with large systems to the left and right of me. Apparantly rutherglen, yarrawonga and surrounds got smashed with a tornado lifting caravans etc. I got alittle wind and 64mm. My creek has gone from a trickle to back to full flow :):):) possibility of another less intense system next week as well. All i need is grass to grow in the paddocks and autumn is looking good !!!!! what a turn around to bone dry a few weeks ago with a very high fire threat.

Wild weather, all right. My shade house got knocked over by a large branch that came down. The benches were smashed too. Out late last night trying to pick up the pieces. Hoping others are all OK.

Matt, I was outside on Wednesday night till 11pm weeding and moving a few hundred trees to a new weed mat covered growing area that I had prepared, it started blowing a gale at 1am and by this morning it looks like I had just thrown the trees on the ground :palm:

Cheers,
Mojo

Hi Matthew,64mm is a good drop we only got around 15mm which is better than none but the ground is still very dry.
The mountain ash were swaying like crazy yesterday and branches down all over the hills but we kept our electricity so thats a bonus.
