Cat 5 Cyclone Ita

Australian conditions vary from one extreme to another. What do you do and when do you do it?

Cat 5 Cyclone Ita

Post by Ash »

Look who is coming to visit!

In the last ten years we have had Ingrid, Monica, Larry, Yasi, all category 4 and 5, and now this unwelcome wench.

By Saturday morning the last patch of tropical rainforest in north Queensland that has not been ravaged by a cyclone in the last ten years (Daintree) is going to be...well...ravaged by the worst.

To the rest of us in the north - please stay safe.

Ash

Another "good" reason to have all my trees in colanders at the moment, just moved them all into the school hall next door.

I lived in Cairns in the 1990s and went through Cyclone Joy and that was bad enough. I hope they all stay safe. The warnings are getting better thankfully.

My grey hair is my solar panel, as with the leaf on the bonsai is theirs.
