Thought I would chuck a couple in. Here the elm colour was poor this year but other things were really good.

Here is my bonsai area. The crepes have all turned but the trident maple hasn’t really started yet.

A few tree's have changed or changing

I haven't been out and about but the street tree's and other garden i can see from my yard have changed or dropped their foliage .

This is a Hawthorn in autumn colour ( 1 metre high ).Taken in the backyard a few weeks ago.

This shohin broom chinese elm should go a deep burgundy colour next week or so. Its one of 2 Chinese elm that does that.

Matthew, is it a specific kind of Chinese elm that gets those colours? I've seen one like that here in Adelaide but I can't seem to work out why just this one does and the others don't.....?

It’s been a poor year for my Chinese elms colour wise, they have had a flash of red or orange in them before but mostly yellow. My tridents on the other hand are going a deep burgundy colour

One of my azaleas with autumn colours, my only azalea that changes, can't wait for spring time again for this one 😁

Both trees came from the same parent plant airlayered over a decade ago. They both display this characterisric. Mojo might remember they originally came from him.
