Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anyone can tell me what this is in my soil? I pulled back some moss to get rid of it in a tree I am growing on and found two of these. Unknown if they go deeper into the soil. Do I need to do a urgent repot?
Cheers,
Pearcy.

Looks like a fly castor, shouldn't need to repot as a fly will emerge. The larvae itself would only be feeding on protein probably from organic fertilizer. I'd only worry if it was totally riddled with maggots.

Re: Unknown Larvae?
Thanks Starfox and Keels,
When I first found them I was concerned they were some sort of root eating Larvae, as they are about 1cm long and quite round. Good to know they wont be an issue.
