hey mate i have been getting abit from "them", but before that i got a huge donation of my friend who was giving up the hobby and just keeping his prize trees.
but like matt said get it off the net or even better at the shows, in maitland on the first weekend of every month there are markets and i have been told that there are very good bonsai stock and supplies there. i havent been fortunate enough to get there due to being at work every sunday.

How much does 500 grams translate to in feet?
Seems odd that they measure it weight not length??? :imo:

Im going to start looking at buying direct from whoever makes/treats the wire.

Well the thicker wire weighs more per length, obviously, so if sold by length then as each .05mm diameter will increase in price with length.
So to be simple let's sell by weight, like fruit and vegies.
I use more of the smaller stuff any way.

I get all mine from Ray Nesci Bonsai.
I might pay a little more ( but not that much) and prefer to support a local dedicated Bonsai nursery than any other source if I can
