Masakuni Tools

Post by Grant Bowie »

Hi all,

I have been using and selling Masakuni Japanese Bonsai Tools for many years now and find them to be extremely good.
I stock only the black Carbon steel range as they are the sharpest and easiest to sharpen.
The range includes 3 sizes of scissors, 2 sizes of standard style branch cutter, 1 special branch nipper for fine work on Junipers and others, 2 size Wire benders and 2 sizes wire cutters. Not all tools are shown in photo.
If you are interested please enquire.

Thanks

Grant

Just received my Masakuni branch cutters. Have to say a big thank you to Grant. $160 and very fair postage costs makes this a bargain.
Masakuni tools are from my experience the highest quality tool you can get. The specific thing I like about the Masakuni branch cutter is the thin cutting blade. It allows the blade to cut nubs and such extremely close refining ramification like no other branch cutter can. The reason they can have such a thin blade is the very hard steel used, this also means they stay sharp a very long time.
It must be noted though, these are not workhorse type branch cutters. As shown in the note included with the cutters. These being the no:16 cutters. They are recommended for under 10mm. This is a tool that you will enjoy saving to use on the more delicate refinement work and it does that like no other tool can.

It's too bad your in such a hurry cause the stories I could tell you, Bushels and baskets of stories, hole crates full of stories. But if you can spare a moment I will tell you one story.
