??trunk cleaning brush??

Post by treeman »

Anyone know where I can get a tapered plastic trunk brush to replace the one I lost?
It was stiff green plastic on a wound stainless steel wire handle. I can't find a picture of it but there are brass ones out there...
Like this but plastic ..... https://www.bonsaioutlet.com/steel-bonsai-brush-v5/

Treeman,

You might view ebay.com.au and search "Toledo Nylon Cleaning Brush Set" - $22 for two - I recently viewed Morten Albek using one and found them - bought on spec and they are the bee's knee's

Thanks John. I have the straight ones. I need the tapered ones to get in between trunks and narrow spaces to remove moss and grime etc.

Hi Mike, the tapered ones aren’t that easy to find anymore. Try tube/pipe/pointed end nylon bottle brush in your searches.
Below are a couple that may be of interest?

I'm not too sure but firearm cleaning brushes may work? Normally quite strong nylon or copper head brushes similar to what you're after? Both a toothbrush style and similar to what you posted.

Cheers,
Pearcy.

I like that set for the price. You get a nylon, brass and a steel for heavy duty scrubbing.

Total tools do the green nylon ones and tehy do the same brand / style in brass and steel also.
