Give http://www.plantspluscumberlandforest.com.au/ a call. A couple of years back they had a number of different varieties. They have a large selection of trees, but what they have in stock varies. Staff are always friendly, so would be worthwhile to give them a call.

Also worth trying Ray Nesci https://www.raynescibonsai.com.au

Yamina is the only nursery i know doing Arakawa and i don't think any of the other rough bark varieties are in the country. Yamina had a couple still in stock when i last checked but you pay for the pleasure, they also do Shishigashira but Shishi isn't particularly uncommon in Melbourne anymore and can be found in most garden centres. The struggle is finding any grafted maples with good grafts tbh.

Yamina are much better than they used to be with online ordering etc. In the past you had to make the trip in to the nursery and then trudge about the joint searching for anything you wanted

From long distant memory, you might find some specialist maple/cool climate nurseries in the Blue Mountains, one I think might have been in Hartley. JMs are often unhappy in Sydney, depending on the area, humidity, coolness in the winter and the like - the Hills, Blue Mountains and Hawkesbury were more likely areas to grow them well.

Good luck,

Gavin
