Took a sickie today, (dont tell the boss Steve)
Anyway decided to take a drive down to Bonsai South.
What a lovely fellow and some amazing trees.
Well worth the drive.

The nicest thing about Leong is that he always has time and willingness to share his knowledge and to help an enthusiast. And if you ask him for the truth about a tree he won't beat about the bush but will give you an honest appraisal and advice about improving the tree without being negative. I'm just glad Bonsai South is just a 20 minute drive from home.

Love to know which shortcut you take! Inner west to Carringbah would normally take me a lot longer than 20 mins.

Had a road trip back from Sydney to Melbourne last week and dropped in for a few treasures to bring home.
