Careful visiting the Orient Bonsai website, by the way. They have had it compromised and it has malicious content that can harm your computer.

I have contacted them to make sure they know, and they've said they know but haven't had a chance to fix it yet.

If you're using Google Chrome or Firefox and try to visit it, you will get big red warning messages.

Is Bonsai Flora in Yarraville still there? One of the Bonsai Northwest people will know.

Steven, to the best of my knowledge Bonsai Island is operated out of a backyard and is only open on weekends, which was frustrating 'cause I was there during the week :x

The Bonsai Barn no longer exists. The owner became ill and could no longer operate. Bodhidharma purchased all their stock to help them out so the trees would survive

Hi I a new member who lives in St Helens Park Campbelltown NSW but moving to Tumbarumba near Batlow and one hour from Albury and Wagga Wagga. Can you assist me with the closest Bonsai nursery in Victoria as there appears to be none in the Tumbarumba, Batlow or Wagga areas. At the present time I get advice and stock from Bonsai South in NSW. jimd.

Hello Shibui. The move to Tumbarumba NSW is approaching fast. We are due to move the week starting 18/2/2010 from Campbelltown NSW. Does your invitation to visit your nursery still apply because if it does I will contact you after I have settled in in about one month's time. Does the nursery have a web site oe does the one in Albury have one? Jimd

I just wanted to ask the educated masses of the Northern 'Burbs if any have visited this nursery and if so how reputable it is?

As stated in the into thread, I got a bonsai for Christmas, which happened to be from this nursery (though sold from a stall in a plaza). I want to delve into the world of bonsai but keep seeing warnings about making sure your dealer is reputable. I wanna get good soil for potential bonsais, so was wondering if these guys can be trusted. I'm going there tomorrow to get some wire for my Jac, maybe some pots, and am considering picking up some soil if they're okay.

They have some really impressive looking bonsais there, but in my inexperience I don't know the tell-tale signs of a good/bad dealer.
