Raywood Nursery - Delamera SA

Post by Luke308 »

I found this little gem of a nursery back in 2012 (I think). http://www.raywood.com.au/

It is tucked away in the middle of Deep Creek Conservation Park down a few dirt roads about 105kms south of Adelaide (Just past Rapid Bay turn off).

It is tucked away among the gumtrees and it not your conventional nursery. Tube stock is what I have bought most of, and some of them at great prices. They have a bit of everything from fruiting trees, flowering trees, some natives, and loads of deciduous.

The owner I believe discovered the "claret ash" trees aka Fraxinus raywoodii or had something to do with it's discovery.

I would recommend anyone in Adelaide take a visit - the myponga bakery, or even Forktree brewery in Carrickalinga is worth a stop for lunch too.
