Hi all

Any tips for nurseries or garden centres down the NSW south coast? I have family at Batemans Bay and wouldn’t mind having a look around for some stock this weekend.

Hi Ryan ,there is a nice little native nursery 'Wirra Wirin' on the outskirts of Tomerong. A bit of a trip to find but well worth the effort. Good luck .John.

On the way past have a look at Bonsai By the Bay at Woollamia (Jervis Bay).
Mason has good stock and is very helpful. Probably worth checking whether he will be open the day you are travelling.

I was actually just talking to Mason yesterday. Should be visiting him closer to February. Really looking forward to going up there and perfecting timing as it’ll be on a pay week :D

Unfortunately there where a few places lost like yatte yattah nursery there was also a decent little bonsai nursery in Batemans bay but gone now. If you look on gumtree and set your limits up there is a native tree grower in East Lyne that may have some good stock to use as well and if you like Fig trees Mick Ryan park on the north side of Milton west side of the road almost opposite the petrol station has a Giant Ficus Oblique estimated to be around the 200year old mark. It's a personal Fav tree.
