The 2021 Bonsai Society of Australia Orange Blossom Bonsai Show will present a large collection of Australian native and exotic bonsai trees, as well as a display of Australian-made bonsai pots. Another highlight will be stones from all over the world highlighting the beauty of suiseki as an art form. James and Jackie Tranter from Samarkand Pottery will be a feature, with their distinctive bonsai containers available for purchase.
The Bonsai Market will be open for three days selling quality trees in various stages of development, stock trees, companion plants, pre-loved bonsai pots, bonsai tools and wire.
Need help with your bonsai? Bring your tree to the Bonsai Clinic for advice on pruning, re-potting, styling or any other problem you are encountering. (Repotting and wiring will incur a small charge for materials.)
Build a Bonsai is back. For just $8.00, children (or the young at heart) can create their own bonsai.
The Bonsai Cafe will again be serving a delicious assortment of cakes, slices and gourmet sandwiches as well as tea, barista or instant coffee and assorted soft drinks.

I'm sure this disappointing news wont surprise anyone but the BSA Bonsai Show planned for September has had to be cancelled due to the current Covid Lockdown. Our thoughts however are with the many doing it much tougher at the moment. It is hoped to have the same arrangements in place for next year when things are much more 'normal'.
