Unfortunately Bonsai Week 2020 has been cancelled due to the measures taken by the Federal Government to contain the spread of COVID 19. We regret that we are not able to bring you Bonsai Week this year.
A full refund will be given for all purchased tickets. Please allow a few working days for this to be processed.

Regards
NAC Management
Yeah bummer but the right decision for sure. I feel for the organising team and those that were coming from overseas. It is difficult to organise events like this - lots planning, time and money so for all those involved in the organisation - well done and while this event is cancelled, I am sure many great ones will follow. Keep safe and healthy. Image

This year is blowing goats really hard already, ScoMo just banned overseas travel right as I’m due to fly to Japan next Monday. Not much left to give any interest to life anymore, just sit at home and hug the toilet paper if you were fortunate enough to buy some.

Tim you wont need the toilet paper if last weekend shopping expedition is anything to go by. No meat, limited veg including frozen! No food in, no ... out so no toilet paper required

It's totally out of hand, people seem to be stocking for a 12 month hibernation rather than a 2 week at worst isolation.

Yep, two weeks of Uber Eats and home delivered groceries with contactless delivery. People need to calm down!

The worst bit is the crazies are turning everyone else crazy - I went to buy nappies this morning and the shelves were stripped. Next time I see them in stock I'm going to need to stock up like a crazy person.

I can handle being a crazy plant/bonsai person but a crazy nappy person doesn't really do it for me.

Yep its crazy out there folks! Soon well have burglaries and the only thing being stolen will be toilet paper. :o This would be funny if it wasn’t so serious. Went to both Coles and Safeway on Sunday there was no meat of any description not even the off cuts I get for the dogs. As for toilet paper you have to get there early and daily and hope they got a delivery overnight.
Cheers

The recent events of hoarding are not just irrational they are totally unnecessary and have caused considerable worry within communities most especially where people have travelled from Canberra to raid local rural communities of their stocks - I'm sure many of you are like myself and have served a tour of duty and may think I am going a little overboard but I'm ashamed if the hoarders are those for whom I did it.

Hi John, hopefully this photo helps to restore a little of your faith in humanity - it did for me.

Greg aka crazy nappy person, happy to send you some old fashioned terry towelling nappies they are new/unused. I’m sure you could still buy the nappy pins at the chemist. Wash tumble dry and your good to go......repeat.
pm me if you want them.
Cheers

Oh dear, the nickname has stuck already! Thank you for the kind offer, I scored a bunch of washable nappies from my sister in law yesterday! I can go back to hoarding just plants now :tu:
