2021 Redlands Show
On tomorrow, masses of stock for sale, bonsai, pre-bonsai and stuff to play with, lots of pots, stands and other doodads, and Marie Hewartson has a MASSIVE amount of new pots to show off!
The exhibition is HUGE! 93 trees, struggling to fit them all in. Craig Jurd is judging them tonight, and tomorrow we'll see the results.
9 - 4 at the Donald Simpson Centre in Bloomfield Street, Cleveland. Free parking for all.
Here's a taste of some of the trees on display. Sales area walk around

Great trees (and photos, as always Mel). Love the teaser showing the sales area!

Re: 2021 Redlands Show
Had a great time catching up with old friends and looking at a great display. I may have bought a couple of items too

Re: 2021 Redlands Show
Good to see you Tony, thanks for dropping in!
Here's some of the prize winners. I was so busy with doing my volunteer work I didn't get a shot of the trees with their awards, so I'm working from memory here.....soz. I may have missed quite a few. All these photos were taken on Saturday night before judging

Re: 2021 Redlands Show
Thanks Sno, it was a curiosity for many of the visitors, and a lot of questions were asked about it. Nothing like a bonsai, but opened up some eyes about what an Aussie native no one knew about could look like.

Yes, thanks both for posting the photos. The Callicarpa is a very fine display. I know I have fixed ideas about a Strong Trunk, dramatic angles, and a complex foliage pattern - the Calli tells me I need to relax...
