Just in case you aren't aware - today is World Bonsai Day
... not really sure what that means but thought it might be nice to celebrate our bonsai by chucking up a pic of some of them and wish you all a happy day, be extra nice to your trees today!

Happy World Bonsai Day to you too, Ryan! You really are getting those pines looking fantastic! I'm usually on my way home from Tasmania at this time each year, but didn't want to make the trip in case we were stranded. Here's a tree that inspires me every time I see it.

Also not a bonsai, nor a particularly inspiring tree in itself, but I really love the colour of eucalypts. No amount of post-processing wizardry on my phone could match the real-world colour of this scene. You just don't get colours like this anywhere else.

Thanks for the thread. Happy world bonsai day for yesterday.
Two photos only from me:
Probably my proudest group... the boulevard cypress
And a recent Quentin Valentine cast off that I purchased
Why these two? The boulevard’s have been a labour of love - poor stock for bonsai but I continue to try to make something of it and anyone that visits really likes it - good bonsai or not!
And the kunzea because it points to a native future - I am enjoying my natives - partly driven by Rory’s competition and the Conference where we shared a beer a few years back.
