I was out there Saturday for the dig and not that interested in olives so took the long trek down to the gorge to see what else I could find. The were plenty of Ash but most were unfortunately dead straight.

I did find this medium sized one jammed between some rocks to make the walk worthwhile. I am quite happy with it's bark, seems a bit darker and more durable than most Ash I find elsewhere.

Just realised I haven't got a pic that actually shows the tree off all that well. Its movement is fairly 2 dimensional but I have cut the base at an angle that seems to get some 3D movement out of it.
