Thanks for the posts. I just listened to the podcast while cutting back the buds on this water gum, Tristaniopsis laurina. Great podcast. I like how positive they are and that fun was the word they used most. I get dismayed when bonsai people are negative.

It looks a little sparse with the new buds gone but will bounce back with smaller leaves very quickly.

Totally agree about Bonsai Wire, I don’t listen to podcasts much at all full stop but i always enjoy Bonsai Wire
