Re: Bonsai Reshaped 2022
Hi Everyone
As the workshops with Marcela sold out so quickly, we have added an additional one on Thursday 24 March in the afternoon.
No doubt spots for this workshop will also sell very fast. Get in and book your spot to avoid disappointment.

Well hot off the press, Tony certainly reshaped this tree.
A great change for the better. Lots of carving still needed to be done.
Great work by tony Bebb.

Here is Marcella working on the Meleuca decusata.
Great material and job by Marcella. she chose the new angle, thinned out the Foliage and spoke about her philosophy with natives.

The collection looked great under lights too!!!
It would've been worth the drive from Sydney today just to see the trees at night, but the event was awesome, and great bargains at the auctions!

Re: Bonsai Reshaped 2022
Had a ticket to this but currently isolating at home with covid in our house. Looks like I missed a good demonstration and will miss a good bargain today. Most disappointed I don’t catch up with the like minded. Frustrating to say the least. I keep things in context though in the current global environment. Enjoy everyone.

Re: Bonsai Reshaped 2022
Hey Squizzy,
Sorry to hear you're in iso, hope all well?
There was mention of the world bonsai conference in October, which will be 100% online, so not even a pandemic is going to stop it, and it's sounding good!
I managed to snap up a bottle bush in the silent auction, which I used in the workshop, then grabbed an awesome pot from Luke Parsons to go with it, will report tomorrow, and post on a new thread.

Thought people might like to see a photo of Marcella's 'finished' product. I loved what she did.

Re: Bonsai Reshaped 2022
The material was bought from me. The Mel had been rested from the Bonsai pot it was in.Wasnt intending to sell it but I needed the money. . The juniper had never been worked on .Just reduced a one major bend over time.
Mel was from tube stock planted in 2005 and dug up in 2008.
Juniper was dug from my neighbours front yard in 2015. Had been in the ground from about 1985.

Over the Thursday night and weekend I purchased/ bid successfully for a total of 13 Australian pots for my Natives. The two makers were Hachinoki and Luke Parsons . I love a good pot and i got a box full.
