Can anyone recommend some good books to buy on Saikei/ penjing/ landscape/group planting?? I'm looking for books with technical sections in them, not just pretty pictures... although pretty pictures is good too. :reading:

Yuji Yoshimura's Miniature Trees and Landscapes is not a bad start although it does not focus just on Landscape as the title suggests.

I second Zhao's book. :hooray:
It's too bad your in such a hurry cause the stories I could tell you, Bushels and baskets of stories, hole crates full of stories. But if you can spare a moment I will tell you one story.

Another excellent site for out-of-print Bonsai (and other) books:

http://www.betterworldbooks.com/

Postage is fixed at around US$7 per book.
