[VIDEO] National Bonsai and Penjing Collection of Australia

Post by Steven »

Hi all,

Following is a video we produced featuring the National Bonsai and Penjing Collection and some flyovers of the National Arboretum.
Special thanks to NBPCA Curator, Leigh Taafe, for arranging permission and after hours access. Also thanks to Assistant Curator, Samuel Thompson who features in the short film.

Please take the time to like the video on YouTube and subscribe to our channel.

Regards,
Steven

Very nice to watch full screen on YouTube. Thanks, Steven.
But the repetitiveness of the music is much less enjoyable...

Hi Lisa,

Thanks for the feedback. It's hard to find epic tracks to licence that don't cost a fortune.

Steven

This looks very professionally done, so well done to all involved.
Personally, I would have loved those close-up shots to highlight some more of the actual tree trunks (nebari & textures.)
Not so much excited about the flyover as much as I would've enjoyed a flyunder?
Still  though.

Yes, good video. Having been lucky enough to visit the NBPCA a few times - it’s truly a brilliant place - very hard for photos or videos to do it justice - albeit the virtual tour gets close.

As an aside - I am not on social media like bookface, twister and snipchattee and I don’t have a google account .... so, I unless I am missing something, I can’t subscribe to YouTube channels and the like. I am rather two dimensional for bonsai - AusBonsai or face to face. Apologies.
