New Bonsai Area

Post by benbonsai »

Recently started some small landscaping for a new place to keep my plants. At the moment all I have is a deck and a smaller display bench. I was in need for some hard stand area. Plus I get to get some use out these unsightly useless parts of my yard.

These new areas will be home to all my pre bonsai plants that I am growing for the years to come and for some trees that require some shade throughout our harsh summers.

All that is required is some paver cement in the gaps and some cement haunching around the edges and I can start moving in my plants and a couple benches.

Even added some new poly pipe with a tap that connects to my rain water tank.

First time laying pavers so go easy critics ;)

Regardless of what you do with it, the space look way better! Do you get enough sun in there?

Thanks mate, yeah the smaller section gets sun all day in summer and the larger section gets sun in the morning then filtered sun and shade in the arvo.

So sand and cement is finished. Everything is locked in tight now. Should dry and set pretty hard. Will move the plants in next weekend.
Took a while to finish it off with all this rain we have had but it’s finally done now.
