Not quite the national arboretum!

Somewhat inspired by Steven, Pjames and Sbwrights recent posts ... here’s how I try and manage an ever expanding collection of pre-Bonsai on a small block....I’ll use rocks, walls, BBQ’s ... no shame!

This (below) is a little back courtyard ... and these photos prove I am lazy ... look at the weeds ... mess!!!

Oh, don’t forget these pots stuck on a rickety retaining wall under trees for shade!

It’s not much - it’s no arboretum ...but it works for me - sort of.

Also for context- much of what I post - is to try to indicate the breadth of experience across this excellent forum. For new members - it’s to say ‘Hey you can work on on this hobby anywhere - roof-tops, balconies, courtyard, gardens, farms ...’

Me .... I am somewhere between novice and inexperienced .... and therefore I can remember what’s it’s like to start out and I hope new folk can see that you can start anywhere and have a good time.

Have a good day.

Bonsai teaches me patience.

Thanks for showing Mark and well said, the great thing is that it really sounds like your enjoying the Art/Bonsai which is the most important, keep doing it,its a joy to watch.

No problem until the wife says "we're having some friends over for a BBQ and we're eating outside."

Good use of available space Mark!
I think most of us are guilty of taking over yard space including the BBQ. Problem is my Weber Q is round on top.

Steven
