Handmade pots

Post by Terry »

I decided I would like to try and make a couple of pots of my own design. I have never used clay before so I sort out a local potter to guide me through the process. Very happy with my first attempt.
The crescent pot is 300 x 200 x 210
The cracked lava pot is 270 x 180 x 100

A big thankyou to Hannah Whitney from White Horse pottery Medowie NSW for her patience and guidance.

Well done mate. I really like the cracked lava pot, would go well with something with nice dark corky bark :D

Yes indeed! That lava pot has quite a menacing, moody look. Top stuff and I am sure the pots will inspire creativity in the trees and style you choose.

Ok, I'm seriously impressed.. I love the pots.

I'd never thought about doing them myself tbh, but maybe when I move south back to the city I may just have to go visit that lady in Medowie

I definitely love the cracked lava pot, but I'm sure I could find something to go in either pot.
