Hey everyone.
As I've taken inspiration from other people's set-ups, I thought to share my new bonsai benches.
We've had some landscaping done by a local landscape gardening outfit. As part of that and because I now have a back yard rather than a balcony, I decided that I would get some permanent bonsai benches to help inspire me to actually progress my trees so that they deserved to be on a bench.
The guys did an amazing job and based the design off a pic that I had collected during the years (either from here or the web generally, I can't now recall). All treated pine, with the under-frames painted black. Concrete footings. Very sturdy and well-supported.
We have some under-planting to do to help bed everything in visually. Should look 'mint' pretty soon!
Also, if anyone in the Inner-West or close by in Sydney wants a landscape gardener recommendation, PM me.

Re: My new bonsai benches
Very nice Nate - I Iike the black and they do look really sturdy. Now get busy and fill'em up.
Hopefully not too much falling debris on your green babies from that giant!

Yes, ‘the giant’ does occasionally throw a tantrum (and branches of varying thickness and weight) but it was the very best and free spot in the yard...Compromises.
