Chinese pot picture - dulling agent orange!

Post by Andrew Legg »

Hi Folks,

Has anyone worked out a way to modify or dull the horrible orange clay on those cheap Chinese pots. It is usually used for some sort or rectangular painted/engraved scene. I have a massive tree in a big pot, and I can’t afford a new pot at this point, but hpI really dislike the garish orange picture. :shake:

Thanks,

Andrew

Greetings, on an area you cannot see, try some boot polish. Just rub a bit with your finger.

I've read that boot polish can be used too, I believe it was Kathy Shaner's story I was reading. If you don't like it Methylated spirits will get it off again.
