I "put together" my first bench earlier this spring. The stumps were free

Love a good live edge! Make sure you post pics of it when full of trees

Looks great, but has the slab looks pretty fresh. Has it been dried at all since it was cut down? It may not be straight soon u it hasn't. Really great looking bench but, I love the live edge.

@Pearcy: I took the pictures in the middle of treating it with oil, hence the fresh look.
I only found one place that sold'em with live edges, but glad I did.

Somehow I ended up with not enough space... (The contorted hazel with big green leaves on the ground had just been watered but it has its place on the bench)
