This 150mm or so plate of conglomerate stood upright amalgamates semiprecious stones such as petrified wood, jasper and onyx as if deliberately pushed by hand into a hardening caramel coloured quartz sticky pudding. Specimens of this quality are rare and, in a natural spontaneous way, move the viewer triggering contemplation.
