The chewed leaves happen all the time to me but it doesn’t usually result in parts of the tree dying off
The bugs come and go relatively quickly chew a few and go
new leaves usually appear shortly after
The pot is Penny Davis
It probably could do with a slightly bigger pot
I had trimmed the side branch because it was starting to reach the same height as the main trunk and I wasnt ready for that yet so I reduced some
There was still leaf on the branches and a few new shoots here and there

That’s a really informative progression, thanks heaps as I have begun my journey with a Euc now. Interesting though I had a similar issue with a lower branch sulking and ready to die but then I chopped the top (as its still in early dev and looking to build taper and not ramification ) and surprise it’s filled up with fresh growth. Guess it’s a euc thing. Do you nip the new growth when it’s tender or do you wait for it to harden ( once in ramification phase that is).
