April update
This is still growing well
In December it was repotted and it was finally time to trim the roots
In March there was a minor incident
The tree and pot fell from the bench landing top first and snapping the tree say half way down at a junction were it had had the main trunk cut
Fortunately a bit of wire to stop it swaying about and snapping completely has resulted in the tree maintaining its healthy

So good to see a Grevillea in progression here, congrats! I hope the break heals well, it's a good looking tree.

This will be the final photo for this tree

Its come along not to bad
Im not overly convinced of the naturalness of the composition
Prior to the accident i was thinking along the lines of a literati come forest floor tree searching for light in the undergrowth
After the accident that didnt seem so convincing so I removed the top reduced the height tried to create some shari come trunk damage which will in time hopefully rot away
As for the species itself i only did root work the once in the 3 years the December of 2020 reduced the pot size at the same time and the tree never missed a beat
From the nursery tree that i purchased there was very little roots to work initially so it was a pleasant surprise to see the roots fill the container
Once the tree is pruned the new shoots seem to take approximately 4 to 6 weeks to appear and extend
Once they start they thicken and extend quite quickly and very straight
The foliage can appear quite large but being very airy I suppose in appearance it hasn’t bothered me to much the leaf size and because i trim quite often the leaves do seem to have reduced in size
Overall I believe its a species that is quite adaptable to the craft of bonsai
