Have been holding of posting these as was not sure how they would go. Collected after two days of good rain ,promptly followed by a heatwave. Pretty happy so far (they are all alive ). Pictures were taken at night of collection as I had to cut back pretty hard to get in polly box. Could not get as close as I wanted but maybe next year ,plus they can be a bit of a handful ,die back on branches in summer is one of there tricks. Cheers John.

This to was a struggle to get into the box ,happy with the result so far . Lost one tree ,have ten to work with. They have taken a while to adjust and growth is just starting to take of. Really looking forward to this group a lot ,structure of growth will be a challenge. John.

Hi All ,So far so good ,which is a bit surprising as the can be a bit cantankerous at times. Thinned out a few branches and have been tinkering with a few trunks. Not much growth but just starting to wake. Still a lot of thin sticks in a pot ,but fun.
Cheers John.

Time for update. They pretty much have been left alone watered and a little slow release native fertiliser ,good growth over summer. Unfortunately missed the chance to repot but this will not hurt as plenty of room for them. Will trim shortly as weather is starting to turn ,be nice to see what is in there. Cheers John.

Looking good. The mushrooms look like little cottages in the forest.

This is a gem of a group - rather interesting in that you are taking a small shrub (which I think it is, apologies if I am wrong) and forming a tall group. I love the interplay of the slender trunks. Clever and hard to design and yet ... you have designed it by using wire ... you certainly have a great eye. And hey, I don't think it is against the spirit of either comp - so feel free to drop these into the Forest Tale comp it you desire... it is still a relatively young group and the forest comp extends out until 2023. No drama either way - just an idea.
