I completely forgot about the cutoff date for this one - hopefully you'll allow yet another late entry to sneak in, Mark
I collected some leptospermum lanigerum seeds from Morialta Conservation Park, which is about a 10 minute drive from my house. It's only 15-20 mins from the city but it feels like proper bush - I've spotted wild kangaroos and echidnas there a few times when visiting with my daughter.
The creek that runs through the park is lined with heaps of leptos, so on one visit with my daughter we (I) grabbed some seeds. Heaps sprouted but I kept the strongest few, and gave the roots a light trim a week or two ago and they haven't skipped a beat since. I think there are still a few going in a seedling tray somewhere - I'll keep that watered so I have some backup plants.

Cheers Greg. Today's cut-off. All fine. I'll call it the COVID extension.
Starting small here - it'll be interesting to see how these go.

I kind of forgot about this entry, and these little trees themselves - they've been stashed away in a corner and have been somewhat neglected and eaten by pests. There are only three seedlings left, not quite forest-level, so I'll withdraw this entry.

Greg - up to you - group or forest - whatever works - of course, your decision but don’t feel compelled to withdraw anything.

Thanks Mark, to be honest I was a bit ambitious with two entries anyway, both in terms of available space and spare time! I'll leave it as a withdrawal.
