Marg Fenn pots

Post by Theodore »

I bought these two little Marg Fenn pots online on Monday afternoon and received them on my doorstep this afternoon. I didn't even select the express option.

The packaging was amazing and the pots are just so cute and so well made. I'm very impressed and can sense a few more being added.

I purchased one the same as your first a few months ago only in a mustard sort of glaze. I'll post a photo when I get home in the morning. One of my favorite little pots and SOO cheap. I mean so cheap I almost felt bad paying it haha.

Just got home. Not quite identical but very similar. Its one of the pots I'm considering for this guy - viewtopic.php?t=22554

I picked this one up off Marg's table at one of the club sale days (possibly BSV?)

Just out of interest are the pots made in moulds or hand thrown?

Most of Marg's pots are hand thrown - basically all the round and oval pots are hand thrown. The wheel is where she prefers to work!

She does make a few rectangular and shallow tray type pots which are 'loosely' moulded and then hand finished, but if its round or oval you can be sure its hand thrown ;)
