Re: Marg Fenn pots
Nice.
I particularly like the look of that cascade pot.
I bought a couple of small Marg Fenn pots a few weeks back and am very happy with my purchase.

I like them just the size they are - that one would suit a little literati juniper I haveRory wrote:Also.... this one is a ripper too. Very nice! Make them bigger, bigger, bigger!JaseH wrote:

I feel that pot would be amazing without the glaze. Just make the whole pot with this texture on the bottom, including the feet and it will be an absolute ripper. It doesn't need any glaze. Just make the whole pot this texture and you're onto a winner. And if you made it bigger and round, it would certainly tempt me too. Great rough texture of it...
I second the above - this is pretty much the texture I am after for my Radiata I have been PM'ing you about. I love the glaze too and would be fantastic with a liquid ambar or something similar.

No time to get good photos this week! But here's a sneaky peak at what came out of the last firing. This should all be available at the VNBC sale day tomorrow!

Re: Marg Fenn pots
Looking great, can't wait to own a few of these and see what Marg comes up with next.
The large drum pot on the bottom of the pile in the bottom right corner of the first photo, is that glazed? Looks kinda purplish in the photo, but could be the lighting. Id like to see this closer

Those round pot are amazing! They are the sort of pots you buy first then find a tree for!

Re: Marg Fenn pots
That pot is actually an oval I think - its more of a charcoal color with a slight metallic sheen to it. Its not really a glaze but an iron oxide wash.Luke308 wrote:Looking great, can't wait to own a few of these and see what Marg comes up with next.
