Thought I should put a tree in this pot to see what it looks like. Pretty happy with the result. More pots currently being fired, can't wait to see them.

So I just got a message to say more pots are ready. I haven't seen them yet, just a photo sent to me but very excited to see them in person. I should be going to have a look this coming week. I love the color in the glazed pots.

Love the look of the two round "brownish" ones at the front left of this photo... looks like there's plenty of spots to wire down in them! Nice! :tu:

Good selection.

I really like earthy colours and styles as opposed to the slick and often shiny glossy pots ... Its like you're seeing the earth lifted out and the tree just grows out of that ...

Weird, I know!

Most of these pots are spoken for already as there are small issues with some. We are still working with the potter finalizing the pots (feet size, pot depth, hole sizes etc) She is producing some great pots and very popular with the people I've shown. She doesn't really want to sell any till she is 100% happy with final product but I honest think her next firing will be spot on. She has won a number of awards for pottery so her quality and expectation of her own work is fantastic.

Hugh
Hi Hugh, Thanks for you comments. I'm hoping to have pots for sale from her in the next firing. These pots are only the second firing she has done so just ironing out the last of the final details to get them perfect. The potter is very particular about her work and doesn't want to sell anything that is not perfect in her eyes. I think the next firing will be ready for public sale. Which ones are you interested in and I'll let you know. :tu:

I just looked at the photos of the pots labeled blue glaze and they look green. These are a green base with blue over. They predominately look blue but in the right light you see the green shining through. It is a lovely glaze but hard to photograph.

Look, I could tell you which ones I like but I would be here all day!

I really reckon the blue/brown glaze jobs are interesting though and could look spectacular with the right tree... (I think a native for sure, possibly a eucalypt?). Some good size options in the mix too which is handy. It's a great range :tu:
